We recommend dressing up not down. We ask that guests not wear shorts, ripped jeans, hoodies, caps, puffer jackets, hoodies, active wear, sports trainers, flip flops or beach slides. Discreet and tasteful tattoos are acceptable. No visible face, neck or hand tattoos.

Entry to Matteo is subject to Management's discretion.

No, our venue is fully licensed.

Children and guests under 18 are welcome to dine at Matteo when accompanied by a responsible adult at any time.
Please note, however, that after 7pm on Friday and Saturday nights, minors are not permitted to remain in the venue unless dining with a responsible adult.

A responsible adult is defined as:
a) A parent, step-parent, or legal guardian, or
b) An adult who is clearly acting in place of a parent (a generation gap is required — siblings or friends do not qualify).

Minors are welcome to dine with mixed-age groups where a responsible adult is present.
However, in line with licensing regulations, we do not accept bookings or walk-ins for groups made up entirely of minors (under 18 years old) of eight or more guests on Friday and Saturday nights.

Yes. We just have two small steps at the entrance to our restaurant. Our lovely team are more than happy to assist guests in a wheelchair to get inside.

Yes. Dog's are welcome on the footpath. Please note, the footpath is weather dependent and dogs cannot come inside.

If our kitchen is not busy, we are more than happy to do takeaways, however, this cannot be guaranteed.

Yes, but all decorations must be pre-approved by us. Please note, that confetti, sprinkles, glitter and feathers are prohibited.

Yes! We have gluten-free pizza and pasta options available. A few of our other dishes can be made gluten-free upon request also.

Yes. Please note we have $5pp cakeage fee. We cannot store cakes overnight for cross-contamination reasons. 

Yes, if we have availability, but we strongly advise that you book a table ahead of time.

Yes, we have a DJ from 7 pm till late on Friday and Saturday nights. For quieter seating, we recommend joining us during the week or on a Sunday.
